Grove House Publishing Ltd was launched by Alan and Caroline Whibley in 2002 and is currently based in an oasthouse on a farm near Groombridge, Kent. In a ten year period the directors have launched a magazine or product every year, making the most of added-value brand extensions on and offline to include 4 successful industry awards, and a whole host of branded products for the food, farming and veterinary market.
With investment from Herald UK in 2002 and company growth year on year, Grove House Publishing was brought into the Ten Alps stable in 2010 with an acquisition of the business and its brands.
Before setting up Grove House Publishing, Alan was a Group Director at CMP Information, a United Business Media company, and worked across the catering, building, construction, medical, marketing and food & farming portfolios over 25 years.
Developments in on and offline media brought many awards from the industry, particularly for his pioneering work in e-business development. His experience across newspapers, book publishing, video production, B2B magazines and national events is considerable. Alan has twice been nominated PPA Publisher of the Year.
